Wouldn't it be alot easier when you loose something that you could turn on a "Hot & Cold" machine, alerting you towards the item you misplaced? I should invent that..... I am sure alot of people would love one. Especially if they get very obsessive like me.

I finally found my antique measuring tape... it was in my miscellaneous dish where I am supposed to keep my car keys. sigh

The noise stirred me... I could hear shouting in the distance... and the shouting became very loud. I opened my eyes to see my bedroom was filled with police lights blinking across the walls. It was 3am. I heard the shouting again and jumped out of bed to the window. I peered through the blinds to see 5 of my local police force with their guns and assault rifles drawn and pointing towards a car they had blocked from exiting my little street. They were instructing someone to walk towards them backwards.. and then shouting "KEEP YOUR HANDS UP!" I grabbed my eyeglasses and refocused my eyes. Were my eyes really seeing what I think they were seeing? The sheer panic engulfed me. There must of been a home invasion. My knees got weak. My worst fear... a home invasion. This was all happening out my bedroom window- Right outside of my patio. I watched the police take these two people into custody. First the woman who had been driving the car and then the passenger, a male who they made exit the car by him climb over to the driver side of the car while "keeping his hands up". They had their guns and assault rifles drawn ready to shoot. Apparently these two must be "armed and dangerous" why else would they have 5 police officers pointing loaded weapons at them. After the two were in custody in different police cars. The police began to search their car. The went through the trunk but from my bedroom window it didn't look like there was any stolen property. What were they looking for? I saw a few police officers walk in front of my home and around the corner.... to where I assumed the home invasion was. Then they went to speak with the female driver. I could hear their conversation they were so close to my home. She made reference to someone getting pushed and shoved and someone had a pipe or stick. (she raised her hand to reenact the assault) They had been drinking with a few people but it wasn't a party. They then gave her a sobriety test. I am guessing she failed since they put her back in the police car. An hour later after their car was towed away, the state patrol took the female driver away, the male passenger was long escorted away, the local police Sergeant was called to the scene; I figured out it wasn't a home invasion but the male passenger apparently got upset with another person at the party around the corner from my home and pushed and threaten them. During the altercation someone else called 911 and apparently the first responding police officer was very close to the area.

What a crazy night looking out my bedroom window.... who said the suburbs are quiet?
